AWS Glue played a pivotal role in automating the ETL processes—transforming, cleaning, and cataloguing data as it moved from Amazon S3 landing zones through transient and curated layers. This helped ensure consistent data quality, governance via AWS Lake Formation, and timely availability for analytics in Amazon Redshift and Power BI. Data flows through transient and curated buckets, orchestrated using Airflow on EC2 and processed via AWS Lake Formation for governance and access control. Integration with Amazon Redshift ensures optimized analytics, while AWS Lambda supports event-driven automation. Connectivity with on-premises systems was established through a secure VPN and Elastic IP gateway, with outputs delivered to Power BI Services for business insights. Security was reinforced with IAM roles, VPC endpoints, and encryption, alongside monitoring through CloudWatch. Challenges such as data pipeline delays, Glue interface endpoint access, and network routing issues were resolved through log analysis, IAM fine tuning, and subnet optimizations. This deployment highlights F9 Infotech’s expertise in building scalable, secure, and automated cloud-based data platforms.
