• Reduce manual intervention in resizing and processing workflows.
• Lower storage and infrastructure costs while maintaining performance.
• Ensure high availability and scalability during peak traffic periods.

Legacy approaches for image resizing were costly, slow, and difficult to scale. Tanjer required a serverless, automated, and secure image processing pipeline that would improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.

Solution Overview

F9 Infotech designed and delivered a serverless image processing pipeline on AWS to automate and scale Tanjer’s image management workflows.

• Amazon S3: Hosted original high-resolution images uploaded by users.
• AWS Lambda: Triggered automatically on S3 upload events to resize images into optimized thumbnails and web-friendly formats.
• Amazon DynamoDB: Stored metadata, such as image name, size, and processed versions, enabling fast retrieval and integration with Tanjer’s platforms.
• Amazon API Gateway: Exposed secure APIs for Tanjer’s applications and partner platforms to fetch images and metadata.
• Amazon CloudWatch: Provided observability and monitoring, ensuring smooth operations and quick troubleshooting.
• AWS IAM & KMS: Enforced access controls and encryption for security and compliance.

This event-driven, serverless design eliminated infrastructure management overhead and ensured cost efficiency while delivering agility and scalability.
