Customer Introduction

CoverPro Insurance, a leading insurance provider in the Middle East, offers a comprehensive portfolio of life, health, auto, and property insurance. Built on a foundation of trust and reliability, CoverPro has become a recognized brand in the region, serving thousands of customers and businesses with customer-centric and innovative solutions.

Challenge Overview

CoverPro’s legacy deployment model was heavily manual, leading to:

  • Long release cycles with frequent post-deployment issues.
  • Siloed Dev, QA, and Ops teams that slowed delivery.
  • Lack of standardized infrastructure, causing configuration drift across environments.
  • Minimal observability into workloads, delaying incident resolution.
  • Compliance challenges due to the absence of policy enforcement and auditability.
  • To overcome these challenges, CoverPro partnered with F9 Infotech to design a cloud-native DevOps transformation on AWS.

    Solution Overview

F9 Infotech F9 Infotech modernized CoverPro’s application delivery with a fully automated CI/CD pipeline integrated with GitHub, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Amazon ECR, enabling repeatable builds and container deployments. Applications were deployed on Amazon ECS clusters behind an Application Load Balancer (ALB) for high availability and resilience. The data layer was migrated to Amazon RDS with replication for HA/DR.

Infrastructure was standardized using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with CloudFormation templates, ensuring consistency across Dev, Test, and Prod environments. Security and governance were embedded at every layer with AWS WAF for web protection, AWS Parameter Store for secrets management, AWS CloudTrail for API activity logging, and S3 + AWS Backup for resilience. Observability was improved through Amazon CloudWatch for centralized monitoring and alerting. This end-to-end architecture aligned with AWS DevOps Competency technical controls (PROC, PRIAC, PRCICD, PRMLO, PRSEC).

    Benefits Delivered to Customer
  • Accelerated Delivery: Release frequency improved from quarterly → bi-weekly.
  • High Availability:ECS with RDS replicas ensured resilient application uptime.
  • Stronger Security & Compliance: Policy-as-Code with WAF, Parameter Store, and CloudTrail ensured governance and audit readiness.
  • Operational Efficiency: IaC eliminated config drift, reducing manual provisioning errors.
  • Improved Observability: CloudWatch reduced MTTR by 40% through faster issue detection and resolution.
