Challenge Overview

CoverPro’s core strategic objective was to digitalize and streamline insurance services such as policy issuance, claims management, and customer self-service portals. CoverPro required a lightweight, scalable, and secure API-driven architecture that could seamlessly serve customers, agents, and internal underwriting teams.

Legacy systems were costly to maintain, difficult to scale, and lacked flexibility to meet growing customer demands. Performance, responsiveness, and compliance with strict financial regulations were major concerns. To address these challenges, CoverPro partnered with F9 Infotech to design a serverless API backend on AWS that improved scalability, observability, security, and compliance—while optimizing costs.

Solution Overview

F9 Infotech delivered a secure, scalable, and serverless API solution to CoverPro, accelerating their journey toward becoming a digital-first insurer. By leveraging AWS managed services, the platform became resilient, compliant, and easy to maintain.

We collaborated closely with CoverPro’s business and technology teams to understand critical insurance workflows, including policy lifecycle management, claims processing, and customer engagement. Based on these insights, AWS was selected for its ability to deliver elastic scaling, integrated security controls, and strong compliance support. F9 Infotech implemented a robust API backend using Amazon API Gateway integrated with AWS Lambda and Amazon DynamoDB. The APIs powered workflows such as new policy creation, claims submissions, and customer profile management.

Security was paramount: AWS WAF protected public endpoints, Lambda authorizers ensured fine-grained access control, and API Gateway request validation blocked malformed traffic at the edge. CloudWatch and X-Ray provided full observability of insurance transactions, while IAM and KMS encryption safeguarded sensitive customer data in compliance with financial regulations.

This fully serverless architecture removed infrastructure management overhead, reduced cost, and gave CoverPro the agility to innovate quickly while maintaining robust compliance and security.
