Customer Introduction

Infotura is a custom software solutions firm that helps organizations — big and small — reimagine and transform their businesses for the digital era. With over 500 completed projects, 100+ clients, and a team of more than 35 professionals, Infotura blends technical expertise and strategic insight to deliver value, foster long-term partnerships, and help clients gain a competitive edge.

Challenge Overview

Infotura’s development teams relied on manual provisioning, siloed QA processes, and traditional release cycles. This led to:

  • Long release cycles (monthly deployments).
  • Frequent outages caused by configuration drift between environments
  • High infrastructure costs from overprovisioning.
  • Limited observability and difficulty in root-cause analysis.
  • Inconsistent security practices across environments.
  • To overcome these challenges, Infotura partnered with F9 Infotech to design a modern DevOps delivery platform on AWS. The goal was to enable faster, more reliable releases, standardize infrastructure, and embed observability and security into the software lifecycle.

    Solution Overview

F9 Infotech partnered with Infotura to modernize their application delivery by implementing a cloud-native DevOps platform on AWS. A fully automated CI/CD pipeline was established using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy integrated with GitHub, enabling seamless build, test, and deployment cycles. Application workloads were containerized and deployed on Amazon ECS with images stored in Amazon ECR, while infrastructure was provisioned consistently across Dev, Test, and Prod environments using CloudFormation and Terraform templates. This Infrastructure-as-Code approach eliminated manual provisioning, reduced configuration drift, and ensured faster, reliable deployments.

Security and governance were integrated into every stage of the lifecycle with AWS WAF protecting endpoints, AWS Config enforcing compliance, and GuardDuty and Security Hub providing continuous threat detection and monitoring. Observability was strengthened through Amazon CloudWatch for centralized metrics and alerts, AWS X-Ray for distributed tracing across microservices, and AWS CloudTrail for API activity and audit logging. Together, this solution gave Infotura the ability to release features faster, improve system reliability, reduce infrastructure costs with auto-scaling, and achieve a secure, well-governed DevOps operating model on AWS.

    Benefits Delivered to Customer
  • Faster Releases: Deployment frequency improved from monthly → weekly.
  • Cost Optimization: 30% infrastructure cost savings with ECS auto-scaling and ephemeral test environments.
  • Resilience & Availability: Downtime reduced by 80% through ECS scaling and IaC-driven environments.
  • Security by Design: Early security scans integrated into the pipeline (“shift-left” DevSecOps).
  • Improved Observability: Faster MTTR with CloudWatch dashboards and X-Ray service maps.
